Madison Adult Career Center has been providing quality training for adult learners for over 30 years. We have been serving adult students since 1978 through career development training programs, short-term career enhancement training, customized training for business and industry, and personal enrichment/hobby courses. The training we provide is determined by our advisory boards, which consist of: area employers, current and past students, board of education members, and support agency partners. Our goal is for our students to obtain successful employment upon completion of their training, so it is extremely important to us that we offer training in skills that employers need. We serve over 1,200 students annually through our various training programs.
Madison Adult Career Center is serious about the training we provide. Professionals from related industries teach our career development training programs bringing a wealth of experience to our students. Students in these programs receive support services such as financial aid assistance (to those who qualify), employability training, career exploration, resume writing, interviewing, conflict management, personal development, and personal career counseling. |

| Employers…. Our customized trainers guarantee their service will improve an organization's performance. Customized training for business and industry is provided by professionals who develop and deliver intervention designed to meet an organization's specific needs and is offered on-site for the employer's convenience. Training is provided in supervisory and management skills, process improvement, quality, customer service, computers, team building, job coaching, welding, precision machining/cnc, blueprint reading and much more! Madison Adult Career Center also provides a free job posting board for employers!
Additional programming includes our short-term career enhancement courses that provide quick training in technical skills that are currently being used and required by employers. These programs enable an individual to enhance their current skills and/or gain new skills. Our personal enrichment/hobby courses are provided based on our community's interests. We offer something for everyone! Madison Adult Career Center is committed to the training and service we provide. We always look forward to meeting your training needs! |
